Beginning in 2026, Alpha Gamma Rho - Alpha Psi will be presenting two new awards to celebrate our alumni who have excelled above and beyond after their time in River Falls, as well as those who have supported our chapter throughout their time as alumni
Alpha Psi Young Professionals Award
The Alpha Psi Young Professionals Award recognizes Alpha Psi alumni under 35 who have excelled in their careers in agriculture and made significant contributions to the industry in the years following their time as an undergraduate. Nominations are open to all active brothers of Alpha Psi, alumni, and other supporters of the chapter. Recipients will be selected by the brothers of the active chapter based off several criteria: professional success, contributions to agriculture, fraternity engagement, and, most importantly, their example of early career development. This award will be given annually at Pink Rose.
Alpha Psi Lifelong Dedication Award
The Alpha Psi Lifelong Dedication Award honors Alpha Psi alumni over the age of 55 who have made significant contributions to the chapter throughout their lives. This award is given annually by the active chapter to a prestigious alumni. (Non-brothers who have shown lifelong dedication to the chapter such as housemothers, sweethearts, and faculty members are also eligible for the award, however, preference will be given to brothers). Recipients embody the AGR value of lifelong membership development and brotherhood. Those selected have gone above and beyond to support both active brothers and fellow alumni across multiple generations. This award recognizes Alpha Psi brothers and supporters who have demonstrated lifelong dedication to AGR and the Alpha Psi chapter. For the inaugural year of this award, William Boehm has graciously provided guidance in the selection of recipients. In future years, previous recipients will have the opportunity to serve in this role and contribute to the selection of future honorees. Nominations are open to all Alpha Psi active brothers, alumni, and other supporters of the chapter. Recipients are selected by the current Noble Ruler, current Vice Noble Ruler–Alumni Relations, current adviser team, and, for 2026, our distinguished alumnus, Mr. William Boehm. This award will be presented annually at Pink Rose.
