Sweetheart Hailey Hanestad

 Hailey Hanestad grew up in Boyceville, Wisconsin, alongside her mom, dad, and brother. From a young age, she has been deeply involved in her grandparents’ hobby farm, where her passion for horses quickly became a defining part of her life. 

During the warmer months, Hailey dedicates her time to providing riding lessons and competing both in and out of state, continuously working to grow her skills and experience in the arena. At the University of Wisconsin–River Falls, Hailey is an active member of the UWRF Rodeo Team. She competes in breakaway roping, barrel racing, and goat tying, while also taking on strong leadership roles within the team. She currently serves as Sponsorship Chair, Treasurer, Barrel Director, and Goat Tying Director. Outside of rodeo, Hailey enjoys spending time outdoors and making memories with friends and family. Academically, she is pursuing a double major in Professional Sales/Marketing and Management. After graduation, she plans to take over her family’s business, Servpro.

Hailey discovered the Alpha Gamma Rho Sweetheart position in the most fitting way - by bringing pizza rolls over to friends in the house. Through this opportunity, she has grown tremendously in her professionalism and public speaking skills. She is incredibly grateful for the experience and truly appreciates the respect and support she has received while serving as Sweetheart.
